Why We Exist

We build because the systems we inherited are no longer capable of sustaining human flourishing. As extraction outpaces creation, reliance on legacy institutions becomes a liability. Rhiz exists to provide a sovereign substrate for those who accept the responsibility of building what comes next.

Coordination

Rhiz coordinates the flow of value, reputation, and protection among independent builders. It acts as a high-trust verification layer for human effort, aligning individual success with collective resilience. It is infrastructure for the non-zero-sum.

Sources of Legitimacy

Legitimacy matches the weight of reality. In Rhiz, it is not granted by decree or popularity. It is derived solely from proof of work and proof of care - the demonstrated ability to solve problems and sustain resources over time.

The Undefined

The specific mechanisms of governance, the cultural boundaries of communities, and the ultimate scale of the network remain intentionally undefined. We prescribe only the protocols of coordination; the shape of the society is determined by the sovereignty of its citizens.

This declaration is not a final command but an initial state. Rhiz is a living system. Its rules, interfaces, and territory will be refined continuously through the practice and needs of those who live within it.
