Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rhiz Network ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the Service. Rhiz is operated by WeRhiz, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Rhiz is a coordination infrastructure for sovereign individuals and communities. The Service provides identity management, relationship tracking, trust scoring, and governance tools. Citizenship in Rhiz grants access to network resources, voting rights, and coordination assistance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Rhiz, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Citizenship is granted at our discretion and may be revoked for violations of these terms or community standards.

4. User Accounts and Identity

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Your RISA (Rhiz Identity Standing Attestation) is your verifiable identity within the network. You agree not to share, sell, or transfer your RISA or account access to any third party.

5. Citizenship and Standing

Citizenship is maintained through active participation. Extended inactivity may result in dormancy status, which pauses certain rights but preserves your history and contributions. You may exit the network at any time, subject to the Exit Provisions in Section 10.

• Active standing requires participation within the preceding 90 days
• Dormancy does not affect historical contribution records
• Standing tiers (Observer, Participant, Contributor, Steward) affect access levels

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination
• Manipulate trust scores or governance mechanisms
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

7. Intellectual Property

The Rhiz Protocol, its design, code, and documentation are protected intellectual property. Content you create within Rhiz remains your property. By contributing to shared resources, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content for network operations.

8. Fees and Payments

Citizenship may require a one-time contribution fee. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as specified in our refund policy. We reserve the right to change fee structures with 30 days notice to existing citizens.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ACCURACY OF DATA, OR SPECIFIC OUTCOMES FROM USING THE SERVICE. AI AGENTS PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS, NOT GUARANTEES.

10. Exit and Data Portability

You may exit the network at any time. Upon exit request, we will provide you with an export of your personal data within 30 days. Historical contributions and trust scores may be retained in anonymized form for network integrity.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to citizens at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
